Illustration for animation

For this project I was commissioned by MannMade agency to create illustrated elements, a storyboard, as well as design the look and feel for a short introductory video used by Standard Bank to announce winners of various awards at their “Top Young Achiever” awards ceremony. The basic concept was to illustrate a seed that is swayed around in the wind by negative, self-critical thoughts. The seed travels through the dark, but then breaks into the light, blowing in the wind with the birds and clouds, where it sprouts into a lotus flower, symbol of hope and positivity. The final animation was done by the team at MannMade
