For this project I worked with the Fuzzy Logic team on gaming environments for an augmented reality board game. My role as concept artist involved brainstorming on several environments as initial rough sketches, keeping in mind which elements would be interactive. Once we narrowed it down to the chosen option I did a tonal value study to establish light and dark areas. I then did a rough colour study and once this was approved I did final colouring and texturing in Photoshop. To prepare the environment for implementation and compositing in Unity everything had to be separated into individual components (“sprites”). The challenge was to come up with environments that was unique and beautiful with enough interactive elements to make it fun.
Client Testimonial
“Andrea has assisted Fuzzy Logic artistically on a number of different projects in the past year and we have always found her to be extremely talented, eager to be involved and very attentive to requirements and details. Andrea was responsible for key areas and she always over delivered. I’d highly recommend her to everyone.”
