Book cover illustration

For this fun project I was commissioned by Human & Rousseau Publishers to illustrate the cover of Troula Goosen’s book, “Die Sproetebessies en die hart van die swart roos”. The brief was to illustrate the three main characters of the book in front of an old, gothic house, with black roses and elements from the story in the border of the design. The story is written in Afrikaans and aimed at teenage girls.
